Parliment - Funkadelic Mothership Funks Up the Smithsonian!

The Mothership lands at the Chicago Funk Fest.  Garnie McEwen Photos

Through out the halls of the Smithsonian the whispers of Funkateers will be asking "Mama, What's a Funkadelic?

Soon the answer will be revealed at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture. The museum will house a permanent music exhibit and will open in 2015.

The Main Maggot Overlord of Funkadelia, George Clinton, has accepted the Smithsonian's request to become the Galactic Earth Base of the Mothership.

Mama, What's a Funkadelic?
I am a Funkadelic. I am not of this world. But fear me not, I will do you no harm.  Loan me your funky mind, so I can play with it, for nothing is good unless you play with it and all that is good is nasty!
